How To Turn On HealthRider Treadmill? – Step by Step Guide
The first step to turn on a HealthRider tread is to,
1. Plug in the power cord
Before committing this step it’s worth mentioning that this product must be earthed .
If it should malfunction or break down, earthing provides a path of least resistance for electric current, reducing the risk of electric shock.
Your treadmill, like other electronic equipment, can be damaged by sudden voltage changes in your home power.
Plug the power cord into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and earthed accordingly.
2. Turn on the power button
The next step is to turn on your treadmill is to switch the power button to the Reset position. You can locate the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord connection.
When the power is turned on, you will hear a beep and all the lights on the display will light for a short time. Then the Time and Distance windows will display Odometer readings for a short time.
3. Attach the safety key into place
Before you can start using your tread, locate the clip attached to the safety key and and slide the clip securely onto the waistband of your clothes.
Next, make sure it is fully inserted into the safety key port as it is necessary to turn on the tread.
The key usually has a clip that allows you to attach the key to your activewear during the workout for safety purposes.
If the safety key is detached, the treadmill will stop immediately.
4. Start walking/running
Do not start the tread before stepping onto the running surface. Step onto it from the rear, using handrails for balance. Avoid leaning in and putting your full weight on the handrails.
Press and release the Start Button to wake the tread (if not already on) and begin the belt movement at 2 KM/H.
You adjust the tread to the desired speed using the Increase/Decrease buttons. You may also use the Quick Speed keys to adjust the speed.
Each time you press one of those buttons, the speed setting will change by 0.1 KM/H. But if you hold down the button, the speed setting will change in increments of 0.5 KM/H.
You can also adjust the tread to the desired incline level by pressing the Incline increase and decrease buttons or one of the Incline buttons numbered 0 to 15.
