How To Turn On Star Trac Treadmill? – Step by Step Guide
The first step to turn on the Star Trac tread is to,
1. Plug in the power cord
Before committing this step it’s worth mentioning that this product must be grounded.
If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current, reducing the risk of electric shock.
Your treadmill, like other electronic equipment, can be damaged by sudden voltage changes in your home power.
Plug the power cord into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded accordingly.
2. Turn on the power switch
The next step is to turn on your treadmill is to switch the power switch from position “0FF” to “ON”. The treadmill is now in STAND-BY mode.
3. Start walking/running
Do not start the tread before stepping onto the running surface. Step onto it from the rear, using handrails for balance. Avoid leaning in and putting your full weight on the handrails.
Press and release the GO Button to wake the tread (if not already on) and begin the belt movement at 1MPH.
You adjust the tread to the desired speed using the Increase/Decrease buttons.
Each time you press one of those buttons, the speed setting will change by 0.1 mph. But if you hold down the button, the speed setting will change in increments of 0.5 mph.
You can also adjust the tread to the desired incline level by pressing the Incline increase and decrease buttons or one of the Incline buttons numbered 0 to 15.
Each time you press one of the buttons, the incline will gradually change until it reaches the selected incline setting.
